Friendly, welcoming owners. Very spacious property decorated in keeping with a farmhouse of its era. Location peaceful but with rapid access to many attractions in Staffs & Derbyshire.

We whole heartedly recommend this holiday, the owners were very obliging, a warm welcome. Fantastic scenery and so much to do in surrounding area, little family pub a very short distance. The cottage itself sits on a little farm and is very child friendly with plenty of games and activities in the cottage. A lovely spacious cottage that we really did not want to leave behind! Would highly recommend!

Good location for those in our party who enjoyed there day at Alton Towers as this was within in a very short distance. It was also very easy to get to a lot of interesting places.

Fantastic place to stay Old fashioned but characteristic and clean and comfortable. Everyting availble and hosts friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again soon.

The owners of Shaw house are very welcoming and very friendly. Ideal location if you have kids and dogs because there is a great sense of freedom and security for them.

Lovely cottage, amazing garden. The kids loved it. Warm and welcoming hosts, always ready to help. A perfect relaxing holiday with no computer, no Sky tv, no house phone and no traffic. Bliss. A short drive to many interesting places for both adults and children. We really enjoyed our stay.

If you have kids or dogs they will not want to leave this cottage because the garden is fantastic. beautiful scenery.
